- Always perform a test color match first to make sure the dried paint will match the color of your vehicle. Simply paint another surface and allow the paint to dry for comparison purposes.
- Choose a painting location that is not humid and does not sit in direct sunlight.
- Prepare your vehicle by making sure the surface is both clean and dry.
- Remove any traces of rust.
- Apply primer if any bare metal is showing. If your car has plastic showing, also apply primer.
- Apply several thin basecoats of paint.
